so last night I went to the ER due to an Anaphylaxis event and my face swelled up along with my throat..after a few hours and several IVs some breathing treatments and such I was sent home....13 hours later I am back in the ER writhing in pain in my back and left leg..several hours later I am sent home with a handful of muscle relaxers and pain meds..so the weekend has so far been eventful and not in a good way.

Wow! Not a good thing sir, an allergic reaction to something I understand but, severe pian in your back and leg just don't match up. Either it's a big coincidence or you won the lottery on pain. The later I suffer from time to time myself but, I've got degenerative disk. Get comfortable and relax in front of the TV for the weekend sir. Sounds like you need to take it a bit easier nowadays.

Hope all goes well for you and you're better soon...I spent a good portion of my afternoon today getting x-rays and a MRI on a knee that's been paining me for several weeks now.Suppose to see the doc again Wednesday.I don't like to think about what this could lead to.

Sorry to hear you're hitting a rough patch. You've had a busy start of the weekend. You're going to follow through with finding the cause of the back and leg pain , right?

Get that checked out for sure, Mike. I had a totally blown out disk and another that was bulging a few years back. Same symptoms... numbing and pain in the leg and excruciating lower back pain.
Had surgery, and the difference was night and day. Had to look under the covers to make sure my leg was still there when I got out of the OR. Was the best decision I made. If you can avoid it, don't waste the time with injections. They lose their effectiveness pretty quickly for most.

Mike, Justin is right about the injections. I have dealt with many people dealing with back pain and the injections. Was told they would last a day or two others said only lasted a few hours. Hope you feel and get better soon.
