Yo John....ship overnight to Jim...he deserves the best. Looks like your having a great time. I was in the Netherlands during the holidays season of ‘88..... was just beautiful. Also enjoyed walking the streets of Stockholm 👍👍

Also enjoyed walking the streets of Stockholm 👍👍 Back to work tomorrow but it’s at a conference in The Hague. I go home on Friday. I’m having fun but it will be good to get home after a 10 day business trip. |

Reading over that menu I was reminded of first encountering a "Bap" on a menu. We were in rural Lancashire at a small Inn and noticed that on the menu. "What is a Bap?", I asked our waitress. Stunned silence followed by, "It is a BAP!" Took a while to figure that out. Oddly, I named my old Border Collie "Bap" some years later. |

Stunned silence followed by, "It is a BAP!" Took a while to figure that out. Oddly, I named my old Border Collie "Bap" some years later. Lol. We have a Belfast bap here. And the response you got is about right. 😂 |

Had a nice chuckle. Never thought any one on this forum would even have an inkling of what an Uitsmijter is. I used to live on those as a student, served with chips (fries, to our US brothers) on the side.
