Ive been enjoying my sutliff holiday mixture a lot lately and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on here as to what are your favourite cube cut blends?

Any flake tobacco can be cube cut so the options are wide open. I really like to cube cut Solani ABF.

If you smoke deertongue in a blend make sure you use a pipe that you don't mind ghosting.

C&D corn cob pipe is a nice cocoa topped holiday blend that is cube cut, I like it fairly well.

Yeah I've heard that. I don't know I tend to put it in my Medico and Kaywoodie pipes. I haven't had a problem with ghosting BUT I also deep clean my pipes every week with some pretty harsh stuff.. Rum!

I just got a bit of Sterling Tobacco Double Eagle and really like it a lot. Burley based and very satisfying. I also like Uhle's Blend 255. Another burley based blend with a licorice topping. Packs well and has a very nice room note. Their other burley cube cut blends are very good.

Mike turned me on to Golden Eagle from Sterling. I ordered 7 oz of the Golden and 2.5 of the Double based on the sample he sent... though I'm wondering if his sample was mislabeled. The Double smells more like what he sent me, but who knows. Either way, I like both. One will likely become a staple of my rotation.

I smoke Sutliffs almost every day. I forgot that was cute cut. Its so supple, it almost doesn't feel like it it is. But if you look closely, it is.

ERR is growing on me the more I smoke it, but it melts the middle of my tongue if I smoke more than 1 bowl a day. It's the only thing I've ran into that bites me.

ERR is growing on me the more I smoke it, but it melts the middle of my tongue if I smoke more than 1 bowl a day. It's the only thing I've ran into that bites me. Those thickest chunks are highly compressed and retain lots of moisture. I don't smoke it without a 15-20 second zap in the microwave.

I'll try that next time. I normally lay mine out to dry for a while before I load it up.

I've thrown a few of mine in the microwave, just never the RR match. If power comes back on again, I'll try it.
