What piqued my interest in returning to pipe smoking after three decades away was a limited edition pipe being promoted on the Badger & Blade, Brown Leaf sub-forum. After admiring the pictures of the proposed pipe, I pulled my old pipes out of storage and ordered a tin of SPC Potlatch. To say the least, it was a very slippery slope. I wasn’t ready to pay the price of the LE pipe and let the deadline pass; no worries. Ten weeks later, a last chance offer appeared on the LE pipe. I succumbed and fell sharply down the rabbit hole. Today it arrived. It is a Paul Hubartt/Larrysson Pipe creation. I’m glad I decided to sign up. #30/31.  |

Kelly, stunning pipe with excellent grain popping on the rim with the choice of stains the maker chose.....it’s a real looker for sure👍👍. Superb sandblasting to the briar, plus the end shank finish shows this makers craftsmanship......just beautiful. Enjoy for many happy and healthy years to come 🎈🎊🎉🎈🎊🎉

Thanks all! This is my first "serious" pipe, by that I mean spending serious money. Although, given how much I've been spending on tobacco, that might be my more serious problem.
I remember when I first bought what I considered to be a high priced fountain pen. Up until that time, I had been buying vintage and restoring them. Once that $100 ceiling had been broken, there was no looking back. I'm guessing it might be the same with pipes. The next one is calling my name...
