I know Dr grabows can be a sleeper among pipes but I was immediately shocked by the quality of the Westbrook line. The briars as hard as a rock with great dense grain patterns. Anybody know much about them or have one. imgur.com/a/XOfQhkS |

Huh, I have a Grabow that looks just like that, though mine says "Viscount" on it. It certainly is a good smoker. I'll get some pictures of it later, for comparison.

The only higher grade than those are eldorados. I stumbled on 3 of em I'll see if I have pics somewhere. This is the birdseye on the zulu eldorado ajustomatic. Lol theres a huge fill right in your face. This is the best grain pic I have of the 3.  |

...for a number of years, I collected Grabows, especially the early examples... most of the modern ones are ugly to my eye, but they do good work in Sparta, and they are excellent smoking pipes...

Sad part about all of this is, I use to give Grabows away by the dozens every time I sent a gift. Lots of different colored spades. Until I met Dave.
