A sudden attack of pipe purchase fever, after browsing the YT pipe club videos, the outcome is I have ordered this gem of a pipe, love at first sight. So tempted by some wonderful Stanwells & authentic gourd calabashes. I will read a book & get over it..   |

Our own Sparks made this hawk bill. I had to twist his arm to sell it to me but sell he did. It's a wonderful pipe.  |

Thanks for sharing John , fine photos & fine pipes, It is gratifying to hear Sparks is such a quality craftsman, do not tell him I said so , I would not want it to go to his head . Those Artisan pipes are real collectors items, there are smooth pipes & there are rough pipes & there are pipes that are rough & smooth, but it all comes out in the bowl of ash & the rings of smoke, whether rough or smooth or both, but some of us cannot see the bowls for the smoke , by Christ.  |
