Hi everyone!
New pipe smoker here,living(at least for the next couple of months ) in London in the UK.
I started off by buying a starter set,of a 'basket' briar,with a sample of four tobaccos. I've since added an estate Falcon,and an estate corn cob,with another of each on the way.
i currently am smoking Erinmore ready rub,Players whiskey rub,and about to try Germaine Latakia flake for the first time.
im looking forward to learning more about the art of pipe smoking from all of you.

Here's a warm welcome, from New York City.
I was recently in London on business. Lots of fine and comfortable places to smoke, but not too many places to buy pipe tobacco. The good news, as I saw it, is that British pipe tobacco isn't taxed too badly, and your classic "over the counter" blends are lovely.
St Bruno, now made by Mac Baren, has become a staple of mine. The UK is the only place in the world where it's sold in a pouch at convenience stores! Elsewhere, it is a rare and expensive tin tobacco. That's a heritage, of sorts.
