Just got an absolutely huge pipe, great briar no fills, its a pipe by lee. Never heard of them till this pipe but the rusto is grat, and I heard the 5 star ones were up there with Dunhill. Mine us but a 2 star but still very nice. Any one else have any thing to add, experiences. Here's mine its the biggest piece of briar I've come across. imgur.com/gallery/pXIn8YG

The rustication on that is very interesting and cool The largest pipe I own is a Lorenzo Titania. I rarely smoke it but it is a cool smoker.

John (Papipeguy) With that pipe do you have trouble lighting the bottom half of the bowl? I had a pipe once with a deep bowl.I had that problem with it.

Count the points on the stars. The more points the earlier the manufacturing.

Nice pipe, stillernin. Do you find the smoking profile change throughout the bowl? As for lighting further down the bowl on those big pipes - those gas firelighters that mimic a giant match are good for things like that. They are long and thin and the flame come out right at the tip.

I like captain black original much more from bigger pipe.

Both nice pipes. Deep bowls like that are just too much for me. Both are beautiful.

Congrats, stilllernin! I have a two-star Oom Paul and a Briarlee (Lee sub-brand) churchwarden rattling around in a to-do box somewhere.
