Do you have multiple pipes from a particular maker (Dunhill, Peterson, Savinelli, etc) in a favorite shape? If so, what maker/shape and how many do you have? I favor Savinelli 320 KS authors and own five.

...I like a lot of different pipes and shapes, but I'd have to go with James Upshall and the classic English shapes... I'm English on all sides, descent-wise, so I'm sure it's showing up here...

I like several pipe shapes such as bulldogs, Billiard, Calabash, and Rhodesians and they make up the bulk of my collection. My favorite Rhodesion is a custom made by Todd Harris. The picture below is of that pipe. I’ve posted it before. AJ

I have several "Favorites", the most being my 22 Charatans followed by my 30 Edwards with Savinelli's at 12. My favorite shape is the Pot of which I have several in each marque.

I like billiard bowls.Straight or bent doesn't really matter. I've had a Mark Tinsky bent billiard for several years. It smokes great.

Last I heard Rad had quit making pipes due to health reasons. Hope he is doing well. I like pots, apples and billiards traditional shapes mostly.

Missouri Meerschaum for this guy. Shape doesn't matter too much, but I favor bent cobs.

Billiards and Bent Billiards shape-wise.
I may dream about Ardors and Castello Sea Rocks, but I'm actually pretty happy with where my collection has gotten to after less than two years.

I bought several Willmers in the late 70s and early 80s from my local Tinder Box. (And you guys have seen all of them--repeatedly). I prefer traditional English shapes--and straight pipes. Since I have rejoined the ranks of pipe smokers again about a year ago, I have picked up several pipes. I have been impressed with Peterson. I have a bulldog (150), and a sandblast Canadian (264). Both are great smokers. I have no idea why, but I seem to be smoking the Canadian more than anything else lately. I suppose it is time to start shopping for more of these. This one came from Blue Room Briars:

I'm in the mm camp. I do prefer the bent shape but the mm bent cobs don't have the smooth bend that I like.

I can't do the 320ks as they weigh just an absolutely absurd amount. I like billiards, on any body type really. Been enjoying my Oom Paulba lot lately

As much as I love my Dunhill billiards my favorite shape is the Castello shape #30. It's a wide ranging handmade Chubby Apple with a slightly bent Oval Shank. This photo is a few years old and the collection has probably grown to around 30 pipes. The collection has some very rare pipes but there is a big hole I still need to fill. I know it's out there and I have a feeling it's in the states and owned by a collector. The hunt is a big part of the fun.

I have a little bit of everything but I mostly go after the big 4 as I call it. BBB, GBD, LHS, and Linkman’s Grabow’s. The squat bulldog is probably my favorite shape. fat authors and nosewarmers are a close second.

My favorite maker is Savinelli in the shape number 673. I love the hand feel of the pipe and it clenches nice also.

I have multiple pipes from: Barling, Dunhill, Comoy, Blatter and Blatter, Ken Barnes, Savinelli, Peterson, Mastro de Paja, Bertram, GBD, Butz-Choquin, Charatan, MM, but no duplicates of any. Traditional shapes, with slightly more bents than straights.

I have been watching her progress as a pipemaker for a few years. She has some very interesting shapes. The ones where the briar curls around a seperate shank are amazing. The lady has an eye for form. Her stains and choice of briar are also excellent.

Sweet collection, Duane...you too, daveinlax. I know that Scrooge has many different types...and he recently sent me one of his gems and LHS Sterncrest, which I love to adore...also my bent brandy made by Ron of RdPipes...those that were given as gifts are special to me...it is the thought that counts. Even the lowly cob...it has a special place in my heart, thanks to Ken who modified this beautiful cob.
