Good Fall Evening, All!
Not being one to jump into anything half-way, I have built up a pretty good cellar of blends lo these last 5 months. Lots of English, VaPer, VaBur, Burley, and a couple of aromatic blends (special occaisions for me...1-Q, Belmont Station), and a big fave Black Frigate. Currently in the ether (somehow finding their way thru the Post/UPS maze):
8oz Boswell Northwoods 8oz Chelsea Morning 1 Tin Bengal Slices 5 Tins Fusillier's Ration 1 Tin C&D Awakened Elder 4oz Peter Stokkebye PS400 Luxury navy Flake
Northwoods, Awakened Elder and Luxury Navy Flake are new to me (I DO love the PS Luxury Bullseye Flake). The others deepen the cellar. And finally, also new to me and in a gesture of deference to the history of Pipe Tobacco, and to The Artful Codger, a pouch of Velvet.

I just bought a pouch of Velvet myself. It’s pretty good for when you want to remember the the pipers who have moved to the other side.

You've jumped in with both feet, bother. I'm impressed.

I too am building up my cellar and my tobacco experiences. That's a very good point on the Velvet. I was thinking yesterday of the tobaccos my grandfather smoked, circa 1960; Velvet, Half & Half, Prince Albert, Kentucky Club, those are the ones I remember from the tins. My dad smoked a pipe for a short while and pretty much the same tobacco. I'm sure it was what was available OTC. I need to pick some up for old time's sake.
