FOR THOSE INTERESTED This is the first time I have ever seen the company offer this deal. I won 8 ounce tins of Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding for 23.52 & 23.71 at a falling auction. I am not sure how many tins are left before this ends. The limit is two at a time, though you can bid on two more with the next auction etc. You have to be patient . It appears a value between $23-24 is the lower limit. www.cigarbid.com/a/seattle-pipe-club-plum-pudding-pipe-tobacco/3023965/ PS I posted this only for those interested and remember to keep track of the shipping charges.

Thanks for the heads up, I've looked over Cbids pipe offerings a few times and was never that impressed. This is a game changer. Seem to remember you from Cbid a few years ago same or similar handle in Colorado, I used the same handle there as here.
There is too much confusion I can't get no relief

It was well over a year ago that P&C did a spring cleaning and found several pounds of Mississippi river that had 5 years age on it for less than the fresh stuff..glad I grabbed a pound!

When it hits around $24 - $26 it resets and starts over. The trick is catching it at the "low point". I snagged two tins for $23.62. The shipping is $5.95 for the first tin and $1.00 for each additional tin - or so they say. We'll see how it works out. The straight up auctions seemed not a great deal or at least less so.

Have a great night.

Now I understand why a tin has 6 plus days and is at $42.00. Like you stated, I too found no great bargains. Have a great night. If you are patient there are good deals to be found on cbid, though granted the current one is exceptionally impressive. For instance, I pick up Viprati and other good tobaccos on a regular basis for $4-6 dollars before shipping. If you purchase enough tins over a week (set shipping to once a week) the cost for the first item (advertised at 5.95) can be spread over multiple tins. Depending on the size of my order, I have also found the initial 5.95 shipping charge can drop (I have seen it decrease to 4 dollars) .The added 1.00 dollar per tin after the first purchase does not change. Note: If you enjoy cigars one can easily offset the cost with some nice sticks as well. Another trick is to set up your first shipment for every Thursday. Then on Wednesday night before your shipment is set to go, change it to Wednesday shipping and it extends the period to next week Wednesday. You can only do this once every cycle giving one more opportunity to win tins while the initial shipping charge covers many more days in the process. After the Wednesday shipment is sent wait until the following Tuesday night and change the shipping to Tuesday. A week later the shortest play is on Monday night moving from Tuesday to Thursday during the same week. It resets the process for future bids. In reality you have to be strategic in how you bid, approach the auctions with patience/caution (Some weeks are better than others as people come and go), know the products (while being diligent with P&C, Tobaccopipes etc. and their sales.)etc. and take it from there. Those who have a broader taste in tobaccos (Aromatics, Latakia and Virginia blends) will also find cbid more useful. There are a limited group of blends on cbid (Typically ~100-150 items (Pipes, blends, accessories) up for bid) and the rotation changes slowly. However if you wish to cellar a few blends or are curious it cannot hurt to explore things on your own;tastes and expectations differ so why not? PS I provided a link to the auction in question. Before anyone passes judgement please learn about how the auctions work www.cigarbid.com/help/bidding-features/2069130/ Plum Pudding at 40% off online prices is a great opportunity.

Currently I have an abbreviated handle taken from the original qmechanics.

One 8.oz Plum Pudding is already over $42.00!!Plum Pudding at the traditional auction has a current bid of 38.5. This normal auction started before the falling auction. The guy who bid 37.50 (maybe more), bid before the falling auction took place and got carried away. This is one reason why one should know their products and apply the appropriate measures to determine what and how to bid. PS Eight ounces of Seattle Evening typically sell for 20-25 and Potlatch from 18-25. Plum Pudding rarely comes up for auction. With two auctions and another a few weeks back, maybe SPCPP will be part of a new rotation. Recently, Cbid has also offered more of the Marquee blends (Blackhouse,El Niño etc.) for bidding.

outside in the cold distance..... A wild cat did growl, two riders were approaching... And the wind began to howl.. PS Now does anybody know why the original statement was made that started this subtopic? Hint: The question might be answered in other ways or from another's perspective. All Along The Watchtower "There must be some way out of here" Said the joker to the thief "There's too much confusion I can't get no relief Businessmen, they drink my wine Plowmen dig my earth None of them along the line Know what any of it is worth" "No reason to get excited" The thief, he kindly spoke "There are many here among us Who feel that life is but a joke But you and I, we've been through that And this is not our fate So let us not talk falsely now The hour is getting late" All along the watchtower Princes kept the view While all the women came and went Barefoot servants too Outside, in the distance A wildcat did growl Two riders were approaching The wind began to howl By Bob Dylan

Does c-bid usually charge taxes for non-PA residence? My confirmation email includes taxes. Nothing on the email explained this. I wondered what others have experienced before going to the source.

Hi I paid taxes but never had Cbid charge me. I lived in three different states during my run with Cbid. If you are having trouble with registration or sales tax questions call customer service (Information is found in the link below). PS Cbid is directly affiliated with Cigars International, way before STG bought them. www.cigarbid.com/help/terms-and-conditions/2069134/Look under "Payment and Sales Tax" The states I have lived in are not on the list.
