Never fun. Hope all goes well! Thanks for the support. It is probably not as bad as it seems. If you are a younger feller, ask the Doc about exercise for the stomach and abdominal areas/muscles to keep from getting recurrent hernias. This is something that they rarely talk about but it will help if you strengthen those areas after the surgery. If you don't look forward to more surgeries. Been there, done that.

Butternut Burley in my trustworthy Grabow Freehand. More coffee to drink.
Had a pretty good day. Waiting on some storms to roll in.
It's a nice afternoon so I'm hoping to catch up on some pipes that I've missed.
I hope all is well Walt

Enjoying a luxurious smoke of G.L.Pease Telegraph Hill. Can't. Stop. Can't Stop.
Billy Budd Blonde is for when you sit at home in your batman tee shirt and ratty old bathrobe smoking jacket, drinking coffee and looking out at the cold rain.
Telegraph Hill is like going out to your favorite restaurant, all dressed up with your button down shirt, black denim boot cut jeans, and cowboy boots, where they know you and know what you want and how you like it. "Can we bring some more clarified butter for your steak, sir?"

Thanks for the tip, I will ask him about it. Just got home for the weekend and am smoking a bowl of GH Sweet Coconut Twist in a Dunhill billiard that has been repaired with a silver band. It still smokes good though. It's the one on top in the picture.

Ans so to Bed, in a Lorenzo sitter Baileys Pumpkin spice in my coffee in front of the firepit before dinner. After of day of putting up the storm windows. Assembling the new snowblower (which I hope will be a waste of money😜) Putting away the Halloween decorations. And changing the batteries in the smoke detectors.
