Back when you needed a voice to cut a record...not like today's crap. P.S. Crap in my estimation only...everyone is entitled to their own desires.

I've always been a John Denver fan and he wrote the song which became their only #1 Billboard Chart tune ... Leaving on a Jet Plane.

Got to take our son to see PP&M at a small theater in Houston when he was 5 or 6. Great show and very nice people who really believe a lived what they sang about.

First concert I ever attended. Paul and Mary were ill that night, so Peter Yarrow did a 2+ hour concert himself, then invited everyone back the next night for the PP and M show. No extra charge.

My dad loved Peter, Paul, and Mary, and I became a fan listening with him, usually on PBS. ๐

I grew up with PPM and got to see them in the 80's. They were flawless. Whenever I get wound up it's either prayer or PPM that brings me back down with the message that Love, Peace, and Freedom can co-exist. @markinor Radio Patch? Dramatwist even the albums like this that had fewer songs I knew still speak to me as powerfully as Very Last Day on their Blowing in the Wind album. Got up the nerve one time to take my guitar and sing Very Last Day in a crowded outside plaza. People walked away from me in droves at a very fast pace Edit - I had a lot of their sheet music that I had to change keys on. Paul must have loved the B7th chord. With my chubbo fingers a B7th took a few shots of Kentucky's Best
