Do you have any ideas or inventions that you'll never do anything about but you don't mind sharing here?
I've a few. I can't think of them all right now, but one idea is this...
A parking ticket ap where people can take photos (through the ap) and it gets sent to a central location that issues the ticket. The person using the ap gets 10% of the ticket price and the ap creator (me) gets 1%.
The point is that it will encourage people to park correctly, but the fact that people get money for a successful photo, it's incentivosed. If nobody else does, at least I think it's a good idea anyway.
What are your good ideas?

A pogo stick that works on a high compression compound pulley system. Should shoot you 6' in the air, so a big convex rubber pad would need to be on the bottom for stability.

An app that would let woman (and men I guess) "rate" an online date. Use the usernames from Match, E-Harmony or Farmers only, and allow the ladies to share their experiences. Was he a gentleman? Did he chew with his moth closed? Smell? open doors, etc.

Another is to have some sort of fixed drop box for online orders that has a unique code that the delivery driver also has on order to open the box for delivery. Would help to stop those porch pirates.

Another is to have some sort of fixed drop box for online orders that has a unique code that the delivery driver also has on order to open the box for delivery. Would help to stop those porch pirates. How about a Ring box. Delivery driver presses the button, image up on your phone. You unlock the box remotely. Delivery driver drops in package and locks box. Million dollar idea... |

Amazon does this in cities. We have these in Tampa Amazon has used Drone delivery to the UK and Ireland. Tested in remote areas. Dropping off packages in the rear of the home and notifying delivery by email to where your package has been left. |

Amazon has used Drone delivery to the UK and Ireland. Tested in remote areas. Dropping off packages in the rear of the home and notifying delivery by email to where your package has been left. Really? For over for years it’s been in the works. Still in trial until all the “ bugs “ are resolved. |

I'm going to combined this idea with the other thread about Robo calls.
There are already apps out there that identify and block robo calls so that's not new. My idea is for your phone to answer the identified Robo call and emit a high pitched screeeech that will break glass on the other end. Maybe it will get to an operator or maybe just the computer listening. Or maybe modem noises to try and jam the computer.

When you are walking and carrying stuff or you are in doubt about whether or not you might drop your pipe for some reason... maybe worried the pipe will fall out a pocket... whatever... you just have that feeling.
Old codger trick: CLENCH. Carry the pipe, lit or unlit, doesn't matter, in your teeth. One of the strongest muscle groups in your body is your jaw muscles. Put em to use for more than just stuffing your face.
Learned this the hard way years ago.
