I was all dressed and ready for work, about a week ago, when the old ticker began to act up, and the wife carted me off to the E.R. to be on the safe side...just got home this afternoon and soooo glad to be here...should have had a heart cath on Nov1, but I was covered in hives from a bad reaction from some new arthritis meds. Getting rid of the hives was like picking the right lotto number, but it had to happen before I could have the heart tests cause the contrast dye also gives me hives … can't win for nothing... Long story short, I had the test yesterday, the 3 stints I've had for years are clear, and seems like I'll be changing some meds and getting my lazy butt back in the gym... anyway, IF YOU MISSED ME That's where I was! Herb.

...any of our Briar Patch folks are missed... JimInks and I were phone chatting about this a few days ago, how we would never know what happens if someone drops off for having passed away or for whatever reason...

I haven’t been here that long, but you all do feel like family to me. I have given my wife instructions to let you know of my demise, and to give away my tobacco. I told her they might not remember me, but free tobacco will get their attention!

I suppose after a long enough absence, if another member has that member's address they could write in the hope that a family member would reply.

Nice work, Patchers. as a "short timer" ,I thought about that too...but many of us share the age group and the same health risks, not just our wonderful hobby. trust me...if you guys disappear for a week, I'll be looking all over for ya.
