Every time the blends sell out they're gone forever. Next thing you know they're back in stock. I'm sure there are still thousands of dunhill tins sitting in a warehouse.

That my friend is absolutely absurd. It’s getting out of hand. Ted, I think those are for Murrays tins still expensive though.

LoL! The email was last week. This was the public site update. They're killing my retirement "investment" in pleasure! IMO If production ever does end it will be a few years before the Orlik stuff gets to anything close to the low end of what Murray production got.

thanks but why do navy rolls have to be so expensive? I am not sure, though Escudo and Navy Rolls are considered by many to be the two best of their kind. Even when widely available,Navy Rolls typically sold for a bit more coin than Dunhill's other offerings and was among the most saught after of Dunhill's blends. They are no longer available in most of the other online stores. The collectible/vintage tin market has them selling for more (even the post Murray offering, though if it is a Murray tin it will sell for more). Barring the continuation of Dunhill blends under a different banner, thi s might be the best price you will see that is outside trade shows, brick and mortar shops and/or personal transactions. Luckily I bought 10 tins for forty dollars at a recent show. Yes 10 tins an at amazing price even if Dunhill was still lending their name to pipe tobacco blends.

Alas everyone said the last release was not near as good Murrays and the Murrays was not near as good as Dunhill. Yet as sure as the sun shines someone will claim the McConnell is not near as good. There are almost as many 965 matches out there as names for 1Q so fear not you Dunhill lovers. Coins Coins Escudo is not Navy Rolls or is it but Navy Rolls could be PS LBF. Well Jimmy says so on his review Escudo and Navy Rolls from the same place. I say most folks cant tell the difference in a blind test but I digress. So McConnell has the recipes but they are not the same or are they the same but just a tad young in the tin. So I suppose if you cant live with out Dunhill could you put McConnell in the old Dunhill tin and possibly fool yourself in a few months. Only the Shadow knows and he is still trying to remember if Balkan Sobranie was better before or after the recipe was sold again and again and what recipe was the best the first one or the sixth one. The Shadow is not talking so I should shut my pie hole as well. YMMV
