Very nice. Me like. That shank looks even better than the traditional Bulldog diamond shank. Good score Eric. Nice job Jason.

It was actually A LOT easier than I would have imagined. I may have the cajones to do a diamond shank soon.

Cramptholomew .......Jason, would you ever have the “ unes “ to make an Oom Paul Pipe?? Not yet. If and when I get some time for R&D, it'll be on my list. I wanna try a Cavalier at some point.

Oom Pauls WERE my favorite. My pair of huevos got me thinking differently, but that's not saying that I wouldn't love to have a JB Oom Paul one day

It was actually A LOT easier than I would have imagined. I may have the cajones to do a diamond shank soon. This said, I owe some thanks to addamsruspipe for letting me have free reign to come up with something completely unique to fit his very loose parameters. Even though the shank wasn't as hard as I thought, it was still a challenge getting the lines nice and straight. Buffing all those angles right wasn't an easy task either. His pipe turned out pretty darn well, and that's all thes kudos I'll allow myself. Here's a pic I took before I completed it. I found some minor tool marks that need to be worked out, and I didn't get to take more glamor shots.

I long held the belief that trying to tell a artist or craftsman how to do his job is always going to end in failure. This pipe is perfect for me. I am smoking it tonight. The draw is just right and it passes a pipe cleaner with no issue. It's a perfect clincher. Thanks Jason.

A Cavalier is at the top of my wish list. Let me know if & when .... if I can afford a handcrafted pipe ....... no-doubt more affordable than one unique Cavalier that was on ebay that I quite like. Starting bid was 20,000 euro. [$32,000aud] A Hiroyuki Tokutomi Mushroom Cavalier - Hiro grade - Bo Nord Briar. [Sorry don't know how to link]

Jason: Have you considered adding a U.S.A stamping to your pipes?

Jason: Have you considered adding a U.S.A stamping to your pipes? When I get my actual stamp done, it'll say "J Everett" with a small "Maryland" underneath it. I don't think there's a "Maryland, Ukraine", so hopefully the USA will be implied.

Things in the works. One for a friend, one for me, and one for the heck of it. I think I know where that last one went....just received it today from Jason (Cramps)..my picture taking is terrible, but maybe you can get an idea of the majesty of this beautiful pipe: Glad you got it! Just to be clear, though, this was bought by "another member" for you... ;-) Please report back on its smoking qualities!

Will do...and I think I know who it was that commissioned it. Turns out my thought was incorrect...came from my brother,... Brother Scrooge!
Ain't he just an amazing guy?

Thanks, Paddy...Scrooge is a wonderful man...always thinking of his fellow pipers...many prayers for his fast recovery so he can get back to smoking his pipes and cigars with enjoyment. Looking forward to his soon appearance back on the forum where he is seriously missed. I've smoked this pipe more than any other since I got it....and it never fails to give me a great smoke every time....must be that Cramp magic...just like Kirk and his magic with Briar Spirit Pipes.

I really enjoy the metamorphosis of the raw to finished product. Each new pipe makes me think of how talented and creative Jason is. I have not seen two pipes alike and marvel at the mastery over wood and ebonite. Jason is truly a artist.

Although, that bent Dublin I deemed "The Yacht Captain" may get its billiard or apple equivalent sooner than later. I REALLY like that style. This guy:
