Jason, your Dad will be thrilled. Outstanding stain work on that piece of briar. The stem makes the pipe come together well. Glad you found it easier to work with than you expected. Also, whether original buffing or hand buffering in the future surely smells much better when buffing ebonite/vulcanite.

Holy smokes, Cramptholomew, that's your best yet. It's a great shape, and the straining is prefect. That's some talent.

Jason, you are doing some incredible work...when you get a great comment from piffy, you know you are doing it right!
Thank you for your positive response to my pm...I won't mention anything until we are ready to "discuss" it...but folks are gonna be responsive in such a wonderful positive way...gonna start talking it up after the holidays...so keep me appraised, if you will, of your thinking and ideas...this is all you and wonderful of you to consider it. I think we will all thank you and make this place hum.

It came out damned good, Jason. I like the line that runs all the way along the side of the shank and to the top of the bowl. The acrylic looks really exotic. Your Pop would be crazy not to love it.

Jason’s journey has just begun, already he has achieved what many pipe makers only wish they had. His next few pipes will most likely be outrageous 👍👍👍. Keep up the great craftsmanship and design skills!!
