So Friday we are thinking about going to a nearby town to catch King Jeremy, a Pear Jam tribute band. They sound pretty good and it should be a fun time. I love catching live music, especially local bands.

Me too. There's something great about witnessing a gig live. I hope they play some of their older stuff. 10 was a brilliant album.

I am unfamiliar with Pear Jam. Strawberry Jam is my favorite.

Pear jam is pretty good but I prefer Strawberry. - Jeremy has Spoken. Edit: LOL ... cappadoc and I are on the same page today.

I saw a show in Tacoma a while back: Mother Love Bone, Stone Temple Pilots, and Pearl Jam cover bands. It was fun as hell. I think you'll dig it!

Seen a lot of shows and yet at least try to stay open to new music performed by artists trying to express their unique talents but I'm resigned to never understanding the tribute cover band reenactment concept.

Being a musician and having been in a gigging band I agree. I don't even like covering to many songs of a certain band in a night. I love originals most. But it is fun to go see say an acdc cover band. You hear nothing but acdc and that is never a bad thing lol. If it is a band that you like I think you will have some fun.
