I've seen Luxury Twist Flake described as an aromatic, and I'm afraid I must disagree. It's an unusually sweet Virginia, but I don't find it sweet enough to interfere with the tobacco taste, which it seems to me to be what defines an actual "aromatic." Thoughts?

I think the same could be said about some other Virginia’s, Erinmore Flake being one of them.

It's interesting to me that you define an aromatic by how much the topping interferes with the flavor. My definition is different. I define an aromatic as a blend that was designed with the aroma first and foremost in mind, and then the flavor is considered.
LTF doesn't really fit into either of our definitions, but I still smoke it the same as I would an aromatic tobacco because the vanilla and honey topping is ever present throughout the bowl, even if it's not in your face. As Charlie suggests, Erinmore is another good example of this. Maybe we need another genre that's called "flavored" rather than "aromatic".
