I've never seen a bowl that canted on a pipe! Great job on the stem! You a master! How did you restore that stem?

I was happy to score this very rough but very cool LHS cutty. On the hunt for unique LHS’ for years, and I haven’t seen this shape before. 1926 patent era LHS Purex shape # 84. photo web hostingwow that looks so cool.

Hell of a job, man! Two total different pipes. Unbelievable the gem was hiding under that gunk.
And yeah, what an angle on that. Better not look down if youre wearing your favourite sweater.

Very good work on that pipe - a craftsman at work! I would call that pipe a "Stargazer"

I've never seen a bowl that canted on a pipe! Great job on the stem! You a master! How did you restore that stem? Thanks for the kind words. I heated the stem to lifts out the big dents. Then used a needle file followed by sandpaper. 400- 3000. Lastly, a smidge of compound and wax buffing.

I disagree with everyone else.....you ghosted the former owner out of that pipe...that just ain't right. Pretty sacrilegious if you ask me. The only way penance can be offered is sending it to me. I smoke vicariously in harmony with the long departed owner of that pipe, and properly put a reset on the situation.
