Is it?
I don't want to force it in case it's not removable.

Thanks. I clarified my title. Is the answer the same?

Same answer, brother.
I attempted to remove one years ago... don't even try.

They aren't designed to be removed, but they can be with some effort. Why do you want to remove it?

Some are and some aren't in my experience. I think the newer ones are meant to come off but I could be wrong so I would play it safe.

I seem to remember someone saying that stems on the newer Falcons are designed to be removable. I haven't had one in hand. So, I don't know. Then again, they could have been speaking of the International model.

On the older ones, the tube fits into the stem for about a third or a fourth of its length. So, there's really not a lot of stem to clean in any case.

Same answer, brother. I attempted to remove one years ago... don't even try. I am sure there is a way to remove it but you would be unlikely to get it back in!

Paddy, unscrew the bowl and remove. Soak the entire portion of the pipe and stem in a strong isopropyl. Use a few pipe cleaners and your good to go. It’s that simple.

After the pipe is clean use a polish and hand buff the stem. I use Flitz, don’t know what you have available??

I should clarify my comments a bit. I have seen a few dozen falcon pipes in my days. Sometimes the bits come right out and sometimes they don't. If it doesn't come right out I don't mess with it. I thought that maybe this was something intended but perhaps some of them become loose over time or someone forced it out before I had it. If it doesn't budge I would leave it myself. They are easy enough to clean with or without the bit in place.
Cleaning them is easy if you find something to soak the entire metal in. Of course it needs to be gentle enough to not hurt the aluminum. I am sure there are tons of methods on the internet if you google cleaning a falcon pipe. I just use water mixed with whatever I have around even alka seltzer..

I am glad this is clarified as well. I bought my falcon new recently but it is older as it had been sitting around a B&M for quite a few years. Anyway, as soon as I got it tried to take it apart and the mouth piece wouldn't budge so I didn't push it. It is a great smoker and I can't wait to get some more bowls for it.
