I just started the five volume Harrow County. Oh my.
Its a horror comic I guess, but it is so much more. Its also a kind of coming of age story, and has some really innovative ooookie as all heck innovations in it, as well as some classic spookiness. Far more than a mere bug hunt.
And I enjoy getting lost in the pictures.
Highly recommended. Especially with CULT Abacus smoke filling up the room.

I'm working my way back through Transmetropolitan. The recent elections had me reminiscing about it, and if you have not read it, I highly recommend it.

While not currently reading, I have been thinking of opening up again The Books of Magic. Its been probably ten years since last read through and well... Neil Gaiman.

I think some kinds of stories are better in a comic form than in a written form, and other stories are better for a novel.
I just finished Harrow County, all eight volumes, 32 individual issues all together. Its a really great story that the art really supports. And the ending was not what I expected. Very sophisticated adult ending i thought.
Great stuff. Worth the tobacco i smoked up to read it.

Just got the latest book by Lee Child...a Jack Reacher novel called "Past Tense". I've read all of Childs's books...all a great read and thoroughly entertaining.
