I have not tried either the eponymous Black Frigate or Fusilier's Ration and got a couple tins of both last go around. I am at the point I just finished a jar in rotation completely and need to replace it, so which one do you guys and gals think would be best to try first? Cheers!

i was going to say that's a tough choice, but there seems to be a consensus, so go for it!

So far, just a couple of bowls in but I do like it. It's a bit wet and does require some drying out, but it's a cool and spicy smoke. Pleasant.

+1^^^^^^^ both are excellent tobacco’s. Either might need to be air dried if fresh.

I have Black Frigate in the cellar, but I recently opened a tin of Fuselier's Ration. It goes well with a marathon of the Sharpe's movies. I've really enjoyed it. So, my vote is for Fuselier's Ration!

I have not smoked Fuseliers Ration in quite a while, but remember it was a very good smoke.
