Jon's Pipe Shop has some interesting blends as well. Another option is Straus's Sleepy Hollow, a seasonal (winter) blend.

AJ’s #1 and #3. These mixtures came about as a result of my own experimentations. Those that have tried them always asked for more. Sadly some of the components are no longer available.

Can anyone tell me what defines an independent blender? Typically these are blenders that service a brick and mortar shop or shops (Boswell has two etc.).They are not the blenders who are employed or whose blends are made and marketed by tobacco manufacturers that have a wide distribution (STG,Lane,Samuel Gawith, Petersons etc. found in different stores in the USA and/or abroad).
