It's interesting to me how my tobacco preferences change over time. In the last 4 or 5 years my favorite tobaccos have been (in this order) Prince Albert for a long time, Lane Ready Rubbed for a short time, and Luxury Twist Flake for a while. Due to circumstances, right now all I have are a few pipes and a large jar of Luxury Twist Flake. For a little variety, I picked up a pouch of Prince Albert. I had forgotten how much I love this stuff! I'm definitely going back to it as my preferred smoke. It's plain, unpretentious burley that burns nicely. I can see PA becoming what I smoke 75% of the time. Amazing how things in life can go full circle like this.

Having a really good selection of tobacco to choose from...I can't settle on any one in particular with the exception of Butternut Burley...that I can smoke anytime.

Chestnut, the match to walnut is it for me right now. Ticks all the boxes and the wife likes the room note. I love burley, but it tends to get palette exhausting after 2 or 3 months of a bowl or 3 a day.

The classics stand the test of time for a reason This right here. But it's also necessary to try some other blends so that you can be sure what your preferred blend is. At least this one shouldn't be affected by the FDA deeming regulations...I would assume.

Always pleasantly surprised that guys with mighty cellars still enjoy Carter Hall or some other codger blend.
