Here in Cajun land the Simons bought food, food, food for Family Thanksgiving, then 3 days before Daughter whose husband flies for Fed-Ex International calls her Mom and says do you want to go to New York to see Macy’s Parade, Mom says NO, I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD. So Daughter takes her daughter to New York, her husband and my grandson go duck hunting. My oldest sons wife falls sick. So the twin son is here, Turkey aside we”ll cook a pork roast. Got a text from Daughter this morning asking what I’m seeing on TV, I tell her the Macy’s parade, I ask her how cold is it, she says I don’t know your granddaughter and I are in bed watching it on TV. I say to her I knew I raised a smart daughter.thats our Thanksgiving tale.

we enjoyed watching the parade at stepson's place. Common sense they flew the ballons at LOW height cause of the wind. Still enjoyable & kudos to all who braved the cold/winds

19° at the start of the parade with winds. Smart ladies staying in. Agreed... a couple of weeks ago I was in that type of weather... hopefully it will be another 20 years before I experience it again.
