So I'm sitting here chatting with my sister clear across the country. I took a picture of some "old fashioned hard candy" that I found today and sent it to her. She told me shes been looking for it for years and hasnt had any luck. So I told her I'd send her some. My grandfather used to ALWAYS have some right next to his recliner, so it's our trip back down memory lane with him. Hes also the man that told me black licorice was the only flavor candy with eating... he was right. Anyhow... we got to talking about some holiday cookies that we used to get as kids. Another thing we cant find ANYWHERE. So, I'm asking if any of you even know what were talking about... They're about 2" wide and wreath shaped. They had red and green sugar on the tops of them and came in a green and white plastic tub. We used to always get them from Meijer, but neither one of us live near a meijer store to scour their shelves. I hope they havent disappeared like my peach jolly ranches did  Back to google I go... |

Were able to find the candy but the link you gave is is going to make it much easier to find some other ones too.

I think he is referring to a sugar cookie with colored sugar on the top...if I'm right...haven't seen them on either site mentioned here.

Were they sugar cookies or were they shortbread? I seem to remember some shortbread cookies like that.

I honestly cant remember of they were sugar or shortbread. I just know they were delicious! I dont remember them in a bag, just a plastic tub

I greatly appreciate everyone trying to find them for us. But none have been the ones I'm looking for. I cant even find a picture of them on google.
I'll keep searching and in the mean time I'll order some of these from the links to fill the void.

I've often had a memory of something and I can't find it anywhere online. Maybe my search criteria are wrong, but it's so frustrating. I hope you find them soon. |

When I was young we’d find marbles digging around in the back yard, always figured they belonged to some adults that lost theirs since they were made from fired clay, all us kids had were glass ones.
