I have seen more of them lately on my phone, if I don’t recognize a number, I can ignore it. People that use their phone for business do not often have that option... Robokiller looks pretty cool, if I see an increase I might spring for the $4.00 per month.

That sure makes people stop calling me quickly. It doesn't say please leave a message after the tone or anything either lol. It just goes straight to the recording lol

Now, those parasites are using numbers "close" to the number that they are spamming to make it look local. So, if you're 714-336-5585 they will call you from 714-336-xxxx.
If they are not in my contacts, I don't answer.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I get about one a week, but my wife gets 5-10 a day. I think we will get it for her phone.

It appears that the "do not call list" has failed to function for a number of us. I receive approximately one to two calls per week on the mobile phone. These unsolicited telephone calls appear to originate from Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Missouri, and other states. I usually answer, due to individuals that I know in other states. If the call does not answer within "or about" two seconds, I hang-up. Generally, no one answers within "my" ridged timeframe. Unfortunately, I do not have a "call blocking" feature for my cell telephone, and not a biggy...

I use the Hiya app on my cell phone. It catches the majority of the spam calls. I'm going to cut the land line as I never use it. I get 6-10 call a day on the land line.

I answer the phone if I recognize the caller's name. Otherwise, Fo get a bout it!

Haha, Friday I got a call about "upgrading my cars extended warranty"... my car is 23 years old and has 240,000 miles. I think the warranty is gone.
The robocalls from "local" numbers are quite frustrating since I answer all of my calls for work reasons.

Unfortunately for me, I cannot install these apps. The firm pays for my phone, so I am always available for my clients. As I may receive calls from numbers my phone does not recognize, management is afraid it would identify as a robo-call a call from a client which the phone does not recognize. So, I usually answer and tell them to go ^$)@& themselves and hang up. It is sometimes therapeutic to take out my daily frustrations on these a-holes.
