@acefour Hell of a humidor they have brother! Good luck to you and the owner, and hopefully they can develop a relationship with a solid distributor, and can get some popular tin's/bulk set-up inside. I could see them having some positive pipe events there in the future...

Your lips to God's ears... if anyone in North Carolina might be interested in starting a pipe club, PM me...I am no pipe club Guru, but I can offer some advice, on what works and what doesn't...even some steps I sill need to take... I stand on the shoulders of the rest of the pipe club members in Az btw.It is a lot easier than one thinks it takes. Charlie is far too modest. He is the AZ Pipe Club, the rest of us just show up. |

I live in south Wake and work up Davis Drive in Durham. I stop at ACL on the way home and let the traffic chill out. They do a game night on Wednesday's and poker tournament on Thursday's. Usually someone is playing domino's anytime during the week. Maybe you can help me nudge the owner on pipe tobac since Phil stopped carrying a lot. I helped Phil when he decided to do the online thing.
One of my buddies that plays the tournament has brought in some truly exceptional tobac. I got to try a 40 year old Capstan Navy Cut that was unbelievable. Pretty much the benchmark on what an aged Virginia can do.

There is a pipe club in the area Triangle Area Pipe Smokers (TAPS) and they do host a small pipe show in spring. Only issue is they meet in North Raleigh which is a bit of a haul from the south side of Wake county for me. We have an informal group forming at the Apex Cigar Lounge. |

PS There is a ranking system in this forum and hidden fees called "gifts" associated with moving up in the family. The first gift starts by sending a list of all the blends you currently have in stock with age statements to the Senior members. They chose the blends they prefer, send their preferences back and then you send the amounts specified directly to the Seniors. The second gift can only be discussed after the first one is complete. If they really like your stash,you might gain favor quickly and become a 1% 'r with the rewards and treatment granted said position. Good Luck!!
