My “man cave” is tiny an doesn’t have any ventilation. Any filters good enough to not stink up the rest of my apartment? Does the rabbit air really work? All advice welcome and my girlfriend thanks you in advance.

I've heard great things about the rabbit system, but most have been from the makers themselves and that's perhaps a tad biased.
Others have also recommended it, though.

Brian Levine did a live FB broadcast about his Rabbit air system...not sure if the link will post...if it doesn't and you are on FB, it is from his October 14th post. He seems happy with it, but he does have an exhaust fan to pull smoke in the attic also. www.facebook.com/brian.levine2

We own this model it works well for allergies and the main filter is washable. The outer mesh filter is carbon GAC sponge you replace them about four times a year. The thing with smoke is have to wash your walls with elbow grease and soap several times a year. They get you on the filters no matter what brand you choose. Every thrift store I have ever been in had a used air purifier because of the cost of replacement filters. That being said this unit really makes a difference in seasonal allergies as well as odors. www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/airgenius-5-air-cleaner-and-odor-reducer-hfd320.htm

IQAir Plus... hospital grade... I've been using three units for the whole house for 15 years. Somewhat expensive at $800.00 each, but well worth it for allergy and odor control.

Big fan of Austin Air products. Expensive, but it gives you industrial level air filtration. austinair.com/You can buy the system, replacement filters either from the company or online stores (including Amazon). Hope you find one that works for you :-)

Alen products are wonderful. I have them throughout the house and one at the office.

I don’t like going around repeating rumors, so you better listen close the first time....
I heard that Jiminks burned out everything at the consumer level, he finally settled on coal fired scrubber technology. His HOA had to spread the cost out, I hear tell everyone is pretty pissed.

I don’t know if your cave has access to outer wall but I have a through the wall vent fan that runs constant or timed and it helps keep the stale lingering aroma from building in room. Before I put it in my room smelled stale and like a pool hall.
