Most of us came from another forum...another place and time in our lives.
Those who remember Fatman AKA John..just to let you know ...He has passed yesterday.
You know which forum I'm referring to...you can go there and pay your respects as others have.

John was the quintessential piper...funny, generous to a fault, always there when you needed something.
He will be sorely missed.
He was what we all wish we could be...a solid man and a friend to all who knew him.

I didn't know of the guy...In good company with William Conrad, another piper that referred to himself as Fatman on Cannon, and Jake and the Fatman.

I didn't know of him either, but I read the thread on the other forum. It sounds like he was a great human being. My condolences to everyone who knew him.

I knew him a little. Great and generous, thoughtful, funny guy who was a great presence in the pipe world.

Didn't know the gentleman or the forum of which you speak, but condolences to his family and to you, his friend. Passings, while universal, are difficult on those left behind. Make use of the time you have here to deal with what matters in the afterlife, IMHO.

Rest In Peace John, you had a heart of gold, you filled many people with joy and happiness. Your at Peace now, no longer suffering. Until we meet again my friend 💔💔💔

John was one of the most generous and caring persons I’ve ever known. I’m proud to have had the privilege of calling him “Friend”. Rest in comfort and happiness my friend. You will be sorely missed.
