Well, in my house blending fiddles, #62 turned out fabulous, even reminds me of the late lamented Balkan Sobranie. I call it Biplane Balkan III . A mix of McC Yenice Agonya and Smyna #1, latakia (lots), C&D DFK, and perique. Has that wonderful pine campfire with tangy herby Orientals and some figgy bits from the perique . Too bad it's a limited edition due to my limited supply of the McC orientals. I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Maybe I'll get 2 lbs out of it all.

2lbs isn't bad going for something that is, from what you're telling us, an excellent blend. Will this be a 'special occasion' blend?

Some generous member can sell you some more McClellands for ten times the amount they paid for it so you can make more. No worries.

I often remind myself that I may not be around tomorrow, so I try to consider every day as an occasion to celebrate being alive. While I often remind myself that, I tend to forget it more often than not. |

I could walk out the door tomorrow morning and get hit in the head by a low flying 747 and Puddin would just give my pipes and tobacco away, soooooooooo I'm smoking what I want when I want.
