Plum Pudding is back on the free fall auction at cigarbid.com It seems to be resetting in the $26.00 range, which is higher than usual. Still, a good buy.

That's a good price, assuming you're talking about the 8 oz tins. Have you bought some from them?

I bought three tins (yes, the big tins) on previous Freefall auctions. I paid in the $23.65 range for all three. I haven’t watched this auction to see if the price is falling this low.

I’ve bought 6 8oz on the previous free falls, in the same range as Flyby. I’ve won a number of the regular auctions for tobacco and accessories. The accessories seem generally the best deals as there is less bidding. The site can be a bit addictive.

I need to bid on a tub of that. What i find very strange is the cigars i bid on usually have winning bids for more money than what you would pay for them on the CI website.. that's just plain weird .

Like ebay, some folks get caught up in the "thrill" of the bidding or set a high bid that they can't imagine reaching. Yes, strange; kind of like real live auctions!

KX, I saw a bundle of Quarom Churchills go from a $5 bid, mine there for 2 days, and the next bid was the winning bid of $36..WTH!!

Must have been some last minute intervening bids with one of them set with a high bid of $36. Unlike e-bay, you can't go back and review all the bids, or at least I think not.
