...Not that I need any, but I did receive an "in-stock" notification from Smoking Pipe today regarding Cask No. 7 Bulk. "A broad coin-cut flake, Comoy's "Cask No.7" wraps a mix of Virginias and pure Perique around a dark center of smooth black Cavendish, topped with a slight aromatic."
Components: Black Cavendish, Perique, Virginia
Family: Virginia
Cut: Coins

Just want to add that Comoy's blends are extremely consistent in top quality tobaccos from tin-to-tin, year-to-year... and their pipes are equally as great (smooth open smokers that clean unobstructed)!

We have 4 blends available here in the UK. Now I'm going to have to sample one or four of them.

I loaded up on my favorite Comoy tubs a few years ago. They were always available back then. Does the "back in stock" information you mentioned mean that #7 at least is becoming more difficult to get?

Does the "back in stock" information you mentioned mean that #7 at least is becoming more difficult to get? That's a good question @irminsul , and one that I cannot answer. Scandinavian Tobacco Company is blending the current production, and I do not know who may have been blending yours when you purchased your tin's. I'm sure that STC has a blending pecking order set for all of the blends etc., and I'm sure its a matter of cycle-time for all of these blends to be completed, packaged, and off to their various distributors to be offered for sale. Not sure if its becoming difficult or not. I'm sure maybe Baboo or @lonecoyote could add-in here... Added note: In looking at a review from 2014, it appears STC was the blending company at this time too...

In the past two years ^^^^^^^^^ I’ve had no issues locating Comoy’s tobacco’s @smokingpipes. If/when it’s out of stock it’s usually back on the shelf pretty darn quick👍👍

Yep! I chk'd for the fun of it, and it appears they have approximately .84 oz on hand. I went over to the 3.5 oz tin's and entered 100 in the cart, and it appears they have those tin's in-stock (and yes, I deleted my cart)...

Mark, the bulk will be back in stock shortly, it does sell super fast. I’ve smoked the tinned version of Cask #7 for many years. The bulk version which sells much cheaper is outstanding. I will actually go as far as saying I enjoy 4 plus year aged Cask #7 bulk more so than PS LBF bulk aged the same period. I wonder how Daniel aka Baboo feels about my assessment on these two Coins??

@markinor and @lonecoyote I haven't any knowledge regarding the production history of Comoy's blends, but have been enjoying them for a good long time. Both Comoy's Cask #7 & PSLBF, aged and fresh, for me are equally enjoyable... mood, palette, circumstance, etc., dictate my preference for one or the other at the given time. I hope never to be without either... cornerstone cellar staples, both.
