Good morning, pipers! My belated first smoke of the day, before I get ready for a scheduled medical appointment, is more of that Craven Mixture from the 80s, in the GBD Pedigree 'The Pickwick', a stackish billiard (pre-1980).

Good morning, Patchers. Another beautiful pipe, irminsul...smoke it in rude good health. Started the morning with butternut burley...loved it and now in the same cob some Scottys trout stream.

Enjoyed a couple slices of pizza for lunch, and am nearly half way through this bowl of McClelland 5100 in a smooth straight WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. A bottle of Sierra Mist made with real sugar is my drink on this sunny, but chilly day.

Have a coin of lbf burning in the Heisenberg Pipes bent egg. Modeled after an old basket pipe Jim has, I'm certain mine smokes better. Spent the afternoon deep cleaning some of my favorite pipes. 2 shots of everclear and around 75 pipe cleaners my top 10 pipes are clean as a whistle and shiny as they were the day I got them. I borrowed a page from @lonecoyote and left them all with a good coating of beeswax and mineral oil. I have howards butcher block conditioner which is beeswax mineral oil and carnauba and nothing else that I use on refurbs. I'm going to have to use it a bit more frequently as just applying it and letting it soak in took care of any minor oxidation with a little wipe down. I borrowed another page from Walt and had some cuban jet fuel, and now I'm never going to sleep again. But boy was it good. What is Cuban jet fuel?

Thanks, beardedmi, cafe con leche is a mix of Cuban espresso with hot milk thrown in. The Cuban espresso is actually the Cuban gasoline. Had a Cuban landscaper at a hotel I was managing...would take a drink every so often from a flask. I asked him what he was drinking, thinking he may have a drinking problem...he said it was Cuban gasoline...I tried some and was hooked. He was right...Cuban gasoline...they (Cubans) drink it from morning til night...keeps you going even if you are tired. So I borrowed the term and use it. Ben (quintsrevenge) likes the shout out, I believe.
Got a bowl of Plum Pudding in a Charaton tan shell billiard #118.
