I may be the exception here,I do agree that time goes by quicker as we age,however despite the challenges age brings, I find myself happier as I age. Each new year is better than the last.True there are more aches and pains , and maybe my perspective will change since I am only now middle aged,but I always find that my life in many ways improves with age. My aunt passed away this year 1 week shy of her 105th birthday,she was active and completely coherent to the end.I attribute that to her corn cob pipe smoking. I think you are right...at least when you retire you can get a better perspective...of life and the things in it. |
