Watched the SEC Championship game between Alabama/Georgia, not a big sports guy, but this game to me was special, Jalen Hurts was pulled out his #1 job as Quaterback, his successor was good, but the thing I am seeing is how the Hurt Boy, didn’t quit, bellyache, just kept keeping on, and tonight when his successors got hurt in the last part of the game Hurt was called upon and won the SEC Championship for Alabama. His name will linger in Alabama football history as it should. I’m giving a shoutout to that young man!  |

Was a great game, the Bulldogs played a good first half....then the 💩 hit the fan. I enjoyed the game👌👍👍

I have to give it to Hurts...and as a die hard LSU fan, that hurts. Given the number of QB's who transfer when not designated as the starter, Hurt's staying at 'bama was certainly worthy of respect. He played a hell of a game; although, it is again obvious that Georgia is only a one-half team when the pressure is on.
And, yes, I recognize the irony of my comments given Burrow's transfer to LSU. It's a football passion. By definition, it is not rational.

I know I am biased--I live in Alabama, went to grad school at Alabama, and will confess that the closest I have ever come to a mystical experience was the day I met Bear Bryant. Alabama fans appreciate Jalen, and all season he always got a HUGE ovation when he went on the field. Regardless of what happens for the rest of the season, Hurts has secured his position among the Alabama football greats. |

Hurts was 26-2 as a starter before Sabin kicked him to the curb. Incredible performance by an outstanding young man.
