My wife puts up our tree..It should go up soon..It's another place for the cat to sleep. I should say I put it up and she decorates it.

This is the first Christmas without my wife. I wasn't sure about doing anything in the house since it's just me here but decided that she'd at least want a tree up. I'm keeping it simple but it does add a bit of holiday atmosphere.  |

Very sorry for your loss...don't know what I'd do without my wife...she is very special to put up with me.

For my own part, we dressed the tree yesterday. I didn't get a good photo of the tree, but here is a consolation shot of our little helper.  The cat really hates the hat. Which makes it very important to force him to wear it, every Christmas, like clockwork. |

Nice work on the decorations John. My thoughts are with you, especially now. Loss is hard; Holidays even harder; first Holidays even harder yet. May the pain of loss be transformed to warm memories by your loving actions such as holiday decorations.
