Was just doing a random pipe related search on the internet. And as we all know every thing on the internet is true and never to be questioned  . Came across this on a law enforcement forum. Thought it was pretty darn cool. - Every arrest a tobacco pipe smoker? 08-04-2010, 03:32 PM Yeah, I know it's kind of weird, but I noticed the other day that in my 27 years on the job, I never arrested anyone who smoked a tobacco pipe. Plenty of dopers with MJ and hash pipes, but never anyone with a regular old tobacco pipe. How about your folks? |

We pipe smokers are, for the most part, a pretty benign bunch.

It has been my impression that most pipe smokers are thoughtful and patient people. At least while smoking a pipe. Now there have been a few who were bat poop crazy when not smoking a pipe. But they were always the exception not the rule.  |

Dramatwist I agree Martin. Good definition that is... synonyms: kindly, kind, warmhearted, good-natured, friendly, warm, affectionate, agreeable, genial, congenial, cordial, approachable, tenderhearted, gentle, sympathetic, compassionate, caring, well disposed, benevolent

I have never arrested anyone, but I have seen cops turn on innocent people when they get the slightest suspicion that the act of smoking a pipe would be considered a threat. I don't know how anyone can do such a stressful job.
