I had a fun evening jarring up six pounds of tobacco courtesy of the thanksgiving/Black Friday sales. Two more pounds on the way. I need more jars!  |

I found the best prices on jars at Walmart, with canning season in the rear view mirror check out their clearance aisle... out here it is near the garden area, I have found them very cheap on clearance, regular price isnt bad.

The best place I have found for buying jars is Walmart. Although I hate fighting the crowd, they have a good selection and good prices. They've got a new model out now with no patterns on the sides, just smooth glass, but they are hard to find.

Nice haul! I finally got a case of jars this weekend from Wally World and to get everything out of bags. Still have 3 traveldors full of small misc samples. Guess I should smoke up the small stuff next.

I judge that's a pretty good haul! It should keep you busy for a few days of non-stop smoking. I have to wait until Christmas before buying anything pipe related says the boss

My defense of "You taught me well, only buy on discount and always get free shipping" didn't go very far. I will have to cool it for awhile. Which is fine, I've plenty of stock to smoke...for the next six years. I have advised that the only purchase upcoming will be whenever the LBF 5# box goes on sale. |

I found the Ball jars with smooth sides at Dollar General.6 Half pints for $5.00 and 12 pints for $8.00. |

I went down to hobby lobby late Friday night with my son. They had all their glass jars (ball included) for 50% off. I should have bought some, but I know what happens next. Who needs empty jars anyway?
(I have a pack and a half of empty ones now that keep telling me they're hungry)
