I hope you're all well ,warm and safe from the snow this morning. Here, a bit west of Richmond ,in Glen Allen Va, I'm sipping hazelnut coffee and puffing on some Scottish Autumn flake in a Ben Wade pickaxe.
My world is covered in a soft blanket of snow and, luckily ,I'm off today...I work for Kroger, a supermarket chain here in the southeast, and I can say for sure that I earned this day off!!
As you know ,when it snows, folks start to feel unsure of how much milk and bread and toilet paper it takes to live through a snow storm...yesterday was no exception.
Canned carrots and beans...rice and canned meats, and Lord knows what ,were jumping off the shelves at a rate that can hardly be described
Surely, if you fall down in this area, you'll land on a frozen pizza ; we seemed to have sold that many.
Anyway, I'm just glad for the quite moment with my window, my keyboard ,and this armchair pipe...hope you all have a great day ;enjoy your milk
