I was in construction for a while, luckily with some people with half a brain according to this slideshow. It is the opposite of those "extremely satisfying" videos on you tube. I was so frustrated about 10 slides in I couldn't keep looking.

Josh, sounds like you should start your own gig or look for a better company. Working with, and worse for, people who do work like that is going to frustrate you to know end. Construction is stressful enough doing things one time, much less having to go back and correct someone else's mistakes. What a waste. Good luck friend! |

Low and Slow I'm working on it. And I'm not out to make a killing, just a living. Cramptholomew no lie, my boss would think it's ok to leave it like that. He would do his best to make it "look good" and say "it's because of the framing." That's the type of work that they will put out once I leave. "Close enough" doesnt work for me at all. The man who taught me what I know would come out of his grave and hit me over the head with a 2x4 if I did that. As I've said in my other posts... if you cant read a tape measure, use a square or a level, you need to rethink your profession... if not.. that's exactly what happens.
