These are some big words that I'm not sure I understand but here's what I just read.The FCC has ruled that texts are an information service not a telecommunication service.The state of California on that basis has dropped it's plan to put a tax on them.

It was some folks in one small agency (The PUC), not "the State of CA". Gotta defend a bit. We have too much of almost everything here: bad weather, earthquakes, nut jobs, murderers, wild fires, excessive laws, divorces, taxes, high cost of living. But there are a few things that make all that worth the price of admission.

Yes you do! Like the Monterey Peninsula for instance. Lived on the Central Coast for about 11 years, very beautiful, but you're right about the rest!

All that free stuff California gives away isn’t really free. Someone has to pay. It sounds great. I was just thinking I wasn’t being taxed enough. Hey, if we put up with property tax and food tax, why not?
Boy, I sure have been in a Get off my lawn kinda mood lately. I need to stop and smell the egg nogg.
