Hey everyone,
I'm from West OK. I've been smoking for about 8 years now. I typically smoke English and VaPer blends, but I'm always open to branching out.
My favorite pipe is a Savinelli Lollo, which I've dedicated to English blends.
Anyway, glad to be here.
Cheers, JD

Cheers, JD I'm considering buying a house in your state to use when I am not in SE asia during the winter. I'm looking for some place incredibly rural with cheap real estate where I won't be bothered. Any ideas? Welcome to the patch, by the way. You sound like our kind of pipe smoker. If we do have a certain kind we prefer around here, I have no idea. UPS

UPS,
I mean... most of OK is rural and cheap. Hah hah. You might check out the area around Lake Waurika. Avoid the towns on I-40 and I-35. Everything is more expensive there. Move 30 minutes away from the highways though, and it'll be much cheaper.
Cheers, JD

Welcome to The Briar Patch JD jackdiamond, and hope you enjoy your stay with us Many years ago, I had aunt and uncles in Pryor and Stillwater, and both sets had cabins down on Grand Lake with one of those old tin double boat houses. Use to do much crappie fishing out of that boathouse too. Those were very good times indeed...

Most Americans have never even visited Oklahoma! Talking to people is how you learn secrets about places. I can tell you that in Ireland, if you just use the internet, its actually impossible to really get to know the country. You have to get out and talk to people! I will do that when I actually go to visit OK this summer, as well.

I always thought that if I'd found a place to live in OKLA, that it would definitely have to have a darn good basement or storm cellar close-by to the home. That would be a must for "just in case." Quite a number of years ago, a twister traveled right down Main Street of Pryor and leveled to the ground almost every brick building in downtown Pryor. I agree, to get the flavor of a new land and people, it's always good to meet-up face to face to ask questions And, if I ever get the "itch" to move to Ireland, well, we have our own Legend Lover in place

He'd be a good guy to network with over there for sure! I'm really jealous of the guys over at SP who got to go work in Dublin.
