Thank you, everyone, for your outpouring of love, support, PMs, etc.
I didn't intend to whine about my condition, but I felt like I owed the information to you folks... I've seen some people disappear from the patch, and we have no idea what happened.
I'm still around, I can still type and I have a positive attitude, thanks to you members, Valerie and my kids.
My plans are to be active around here for some time, and I hope I can contribute something to your day. If I say something stupid, please, still call me out on it.
This tribe gives me joy every day. I hope it does to you, too.

You're a great guy, Martin. Been thinking about you all day. You've garnered my sincere respect (whatever that's worth) in reading your posts over the last several months. You always seem to choose your words deliberately, and with sincerity. You've been a great help to many here, and a well regarded asset to this community. I will continue to appreciate seeing your thoughtful words going forward. I wish you peace and grace as you deal with your diagnosis.

Martin, you were the main part of my evening Prayers, a candle is lit for you. I can actually say since I’ve been a member of this forum, there has not been a thread you wrote that I have not read. I Pray, too also read many more in the future, your kindness and wisdom will always be part of my mind, body and soul. It’s people like you that make this world a much better place.
