Slept in a little bit this morning. Could become a habit. Enjoying Hearth and Home Louisiana Red in a Pete 312. Starting of the day with a hot mug of Zen My Cha, a green tea blend of Japanese Genmaicha and matcha teas. Quite a tasty eye opener.

Half way through this bowl of Peretti’s Thanksgiving Blend in a sienna toned slightly etched 1979 signed Rossi 1886 Visconte 245 Oom Paul with a ring around the middle of the shank and an amber acrylic stem. A bottle of Mist Twst is my drink. Waiting for Mad Dog Russo at the top of the hour. Speaking of mad, Molly did a mad dash to the food bowls when I started walking down the hall, chirping all the way. Of course, she got fresh wet food. The other mad part was that Suzy the feline eating machine, who was sleeping by my side, never budged. She's still in the same place. That's unusual. Oh well... I know durn well she make up for it later.

Hadn't seen a hummingbird this week. Figure they took off for the winter so I pulled in the feeders and gave them an Oxiclean bath this morning. I knew that stuff had to be good for something other than cleaning vulcanite stems. Having Sam Gawith Full Virginia Flake in a Pete 999 9mm Rhodesian with a Savinelli balsa filter, drinking ice tea with lemon while contemplating whether to do laundry or mow this afternoon.

First time smoking Seattle Pipe Club Mississippi River Reserve in a 1974 smooth slight bend Tinderbox Aalborg freehand made by Nording with a thin black vulcanite stem. As always, interested to get your thoughts on this one. Your insights have never failed me when I've been on the fence about a blend. Somewhat funny but I smoked a bowl of Escudo a few days ago, left, came back a few hours latter and actually did immediately detect the smell of plums and figs from the lingering roomnote upon entering the house, very powerful and enjoyable. I don't push it and the bowl never gets too hot for my fingers; however, I never get it while smoking. The disconnect is interesting. Smoking Germain's King Charles in a one star Tinsky black and tan 1/4 bent Rhodesian, drinking a spicy Bloody Mary this evening.

I'm on my second bowl and enjoying it quite a bit. I like it better than the regular version, and am working on my review, which I hope to post in a day or two.
