With the possibility that the FDA could soon end such activities, I have commissioned a new pipe. I have known for a longtime the style I wanted but many factors, including money, had to be considered. After several months of thought, much time spent comparison shopping, and finally debating on whether or not accuracy was important to me, I decided on a Basil Meadows Merchant Service Bing. Barring any unforeseen circumstances it will ready around the first of next month.
If I can make to the end of the month with out any unexpected expenses, I will be good to go.

Excellent choice. I have a Rhodesian from Basil I carry in my travel pack. It doesn't get much mention here because I've always been on the road with it and never post about it.  You won't find anybody nicer than Basil to conduct business with and this pipe is as mechanically sound as any I've ever owned. I'm sure yours will be as well. I trust it enough it's the only one I carry in the travel pouch. I do, however, believe the entire FDA business is being somewhat overblown. No need to panic. I already know you'll have a great experience and enjoy the pipe. Congrats Sammy. Look forward to pics when it arrives. |

Thanks. No panic just doing it now in case the courts uphold the stupid classification of pipes.

Ya know, I think if that ever happens it'll be like prohibition..........and there will always be some place to get what ya want.
Besides all one has to do is change the meant usage of a pipe to, for use of medicinal or recreational Mary Jane and not tobacco products to get under the law I believe. There's no mention of that in it as I recall.
