Got home yesterday and there was a package waiting for me. Not unusual for the past few weeks , I had been doing a lot of ordering online for Christmas gifts. Quickly went through my head but nope , was not expecting anything.
Got in the house , let the dog out, started some coffee then figured Id see what the package was. I was speechless. First thing I came to was this
I had given up on the idea of Dunhill tobacco ever coming to my house anymore. Dunhill Flake is one of my favorite smokes, and now a surprise tin! I am also excited to try the Dark Flake.
If that had been it, if that had been all that was in the box It still would have been the best Christmas present I could hope for. But that was not it. Also in the box
That BEAUTIFUL pipe is a Paulsson. Made by Isaac Hubartt who is Paul Larrysson's 12 year old son. I will say again 12 year old son.
It is perfection. Light, but fits well in hand. Deep bowl perfectly aligned. No blemish or flaw to be found.
It is one of the nicest gifts I have ever received. I protested, I tried to send it back. It is to nice for someone to accept. The gift giver assured me he wanted me to have it and to smoke it in good health.
Santa this year was Lee from the chat room.
Mr. Lee again I can not thank you enough for such a thoughtful gift. The generosity will be remembered and is a good example of how we should all be , especially this time of year. I know I can not adequately express on how appreciative I am of this.

Beautiful pipe and tobacco, too. Beautiful gift for both receiver and sender.
This, new folks who have recently joined, is what is outstanding about the Patch! You won't find better "friends" to hang with...and that is a fact!

A gentleman to the core... I have a smoke with him monthly, quite knowledgeable in a lot of subjects.
