There are times when a pipe would be nice, but they're not practical. I usually have a couple of Black n Mild around, but they taste...cheap. My Shweetie doesn't care for the cigar smell too much, and I don't want to run her off. I've been looking at these Halfpipes cigars. Any experience or advice?

Just load a favorite pipe half way with one of your tobacco’s and your good to go👍 Problem solved easy and both will be pleasantly satisfied.

I have several smaller pipes that I use for a quick smoke.

Or load a pipe, smoke it for ten minutes, and set it aside. Smoke more of it when you can. You can stretch that out over days if need be. Just don't smoke wet tobacco and leave it in the chamber!

It has occurred to me that we actually haven't answered the question. Sorry, buddy, I've no experience with these cigars. They do look interesting. 50% pipe tobacco and 50% cigar leaf, all wrapped up in a cigar. halfpipecigars.com/hpc-home/

I got a box of them free with an order from P&C last year. Not what I would call a complex smoke but fun nonetheless. I posted this elsewhere when I first got them.

Half pipe? They get their name from having 50% pipe tobacco filler.

Thank you. It's not about time, it's about being about outside on a very physical job away from the truck and it not being practicle to carry things around. A stick in the shirt pocket and a lighter in the jeans when taking a short breather from schooling a snorty colt. I think I'll give them a try.

An addendum: Shweetie is not often with me when working colts, but "beard note" is a very real thing with a full beard, and I do like to cuddle with my woman when I get in of an evening, and not have her wrinkle her nose up and push me away.

I've been curious about these - not so much from the perspective of wanting a pipe in cigar form, but just to see what different flavors come out of the blending. Cigar leaf can be great in pipe blends, so why not pipe leaf in cigars. I have tried one of the Drew Estate Natural cigars which uses some pipe tobacco leaf - perique, I think. It was surprisingly good, but probably 3x the price of Half Pipes .

They’re not very good. Have you tried other small cigars? Undercrown Coronets? Parodis? Those Cuban Cohiba minis that come in cellophane?
